Refund Policy
Purpose This Refund Policy explains how subscription fees, trials, and refunds work for Inbox Grid. It is designed to be clear for customers and for payment partners (including Stripe and PayPal). Where this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer law in your country, the law prevails.
1. Overview
Inbox Grid sells access to email marketing software on a subscription basis. Charges are processed by our payment processors. By subscribing, you agree to this Refund Policy together with our Terms of Service.
2. Free trial
If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends unless otherwise stated at signup. You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges. After conversion to a paid plan, normal billing and refund rules apply.
3. Subscription billing
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, quarterly, annual, or as selected) until you cancel. Renewal charges are non-refundable except as stated in Section 4 or where required by law.
You are responsible for canceling before renewal if you do not wish to continue. You can cancel from your account billing settings or by contacting support.
4. Refund eligibility
4.1 General
Because the Services are digital and usage-based, fees are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started. We may make exceptions in the following cases:
- Duplicate charges or proven billing errors caused by us or our payment processor;
- Failure to provide the core Service you paid for for a sustained period due to our fault (excluding force majeure, third-party outages, or your misuse);
- Where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction requires a refund or cooling-off right.
4.2 New paid subscriptions (money-back window)
For new paid subscriptions (first charge only), if you contact us within fourteen (14) days of the initial payment and have not materially abused the Service (e.g., bulk sending in violation of our Terms), we may, at our discretion, offer a full refund of that initial payment. This goodwill policy does not apply to renewals, add-ons, overage fees, or accounts terminated for breach.
You may tighten or expand this window in your commercial terms; align it with your checkout copy and Stripe/PayPal product settings.
5. Cancellations
When you cancel, you typically retain access through the end of the current paid period. No partial refunds are owed for the unused portion of that period unless required by law or expressly stated at purchase.
6. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you have a billing concern, contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. Unwarranted chargebacks or payment disputes may result in suspension of your account and recovery of fees and costs where permitted.
7. Currency and processing time
Refunds, when approved, are issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing may take five (5) to ten (10) business days depending on Stripe, PayPal, or your bank.
8. Enterprise and custom agreements
Customers with a signed order form or enterprise agreement are governed by that agreement if it differs from this policy.
